Street Soccer are delighted to announce Scotland Vice Captain and Chelsea star Erin Cuthbert as the latest ambassador.
Erin began her playing career at Rangers, transferring to Glasgow City, ahead of moving south to join current Women’s Super League holders Chelsea in 2016. Erin has racked up 16 major trophies during her spell in the capital, with 8 WSL titles and a Champions League runners up slot amongst her significant trophy haul. Erin has also been named Chelsea Women’s Player of the Season on two occasions.
On the international stage, Erin featured as the youngest player in the Scotland squad for the Women’s Euros in 2017. She then took part in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, scoring against Argentina in the Parc des Princes in Paris. And despite still being in the prime of her career, she is one of the top five goal scorers in the history of the Scottish Women’s National Team, with 24 goals from her 82 caps to date. Erin was honoured with the award of vice-captaincy of the Scotland Women’s National Team in February 2026.
Speaking on becoming our ambassador, Erin applauded the free football sessions that Street Soccer offers across the country daily and proclaimed that access to football should be a fundamental right for all.
“I am proud to become an Ambassador for Street Soccer. It doesn’t matter your background, your means, or what nationality you are. I think football should be played by everyone. If you want to do it, it should be accessible.”
The Street Soccer women’s programme is open to women of all ages and backgrounds. We utilise the beautiful game to bring people together and create supportive communities, whilst experiencing the positive impact that football has both on and off the pitch.
Erin’s career journey to date is an inspiration to all the players in our women’s programme. She was keen to pass on a message of hope and aspiration to all our players.
“No matter where you’ve come from and the difficulties you have faced, use these factors as fuel, to become the best version of yourself, to become the player that you want to be.”

Street Soccer founder and CEO David Duke said: “Everyone at Street Soccer is delighted to welcome Erin on board as an ambassador and a member of the Street Soccer Family. Erin’s performances for club and country are always full of passion and determination, and we want to use that same passion and determination to expand our programmes for women. We currently have an ambitious plan to increase our women’s programme across all of our locations, and having Erin on board will support that ambition and we are all very grateful to have her on board.”
Our dedicated women’s programme leads with sessions currently being delivered in Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh. The programme offers a safe and supportive space where women can be active, connect and build confidence. Each session combines football activity with off field support, helping the women of Street Soccer build confidence and community on and off the pitch.
Erin’s journey from playing at Girdle Toll Boys Club in Irvine, to her professional success with Chelsea and the Scotland national team, makes her the perfect role model and ambassador for Street Soccer. Her success, determination, and passion for the game are truly inspirational, showing women of all ages and backgrounds that football is for everyone and can bring confidence, community, and opportunity both on and off the pitch.
