SUPPORTING PEOPLE SINCE 2009
Using football as the engagement hook, we provide education, mental health provision, poverty relief, employability, social connection, volunteering opportunities and positive support networks.
Taking a trauma-informed approach, all our sessions are hosted in safe, welcoming and supportive environments. Sessions are always free to access, removing economic barriers.
Many of our sessions are player-led and delivery is designed to fit the needs of those in attendance. Street Soccer Scotland comprises of a range of inclusive programmes in addition to our regular Adult Drop In. Some examples of this are our Street45 Women’s Only Programme, Additional Support Needs sessions, 1-2-1 Mental Health Support and SCQF Courses. At present, we are also delivering sessions and personal development programmes in Prisons across Scotland to those who are due for liberation.

Paddy's story
Paddy started playing with Street Soccer in 2018 after hearing about sessions from programme manager in Edinburgh, Robbie, and despite being part of weekly football sessions for over five years, he never imagined he’d be pulling on a Team Scotland shirt at a World Cup – especially as an Irishman.

The positive influence football has on many of our lives should not be underestimated, especially during these difficult times. I’ve seen first-hand the amazing work that Street Soccer Scotland is doing to help those in need and it’s an honour to be an ambassador for an incredible charity that is playing a significant role in not only my hometown of Glasgow but across the whole country
