The Street Soccer Family at the recent Summer Series Tournament in Ardrossan
We’re expanding our team with six new roles across Scotland and London.
Street Soccer runs free weekly football sessions for people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, unemployment and other forms of social exclusion. We’re growing to reach more players and move into new areas and programmes. The new posts reflect that: a foothold in Leith through a new community partnership, a dedicated women’s programme across Scotland, and four progressions workers embedded in delivery teams from Edinburgh to South London.
Our Leith United Programme Co-Ordinator will lead our new partnership with YMCA Edinburgh, based at Leith Community Centre, connecting people experiencing social disadvantage with local support, services and opportunities across the area.
Four Progressions Workers will provide one-to-one support to players facing barriers to employment across Edinburgh, Fife, Central Scotland and South London, helping them move towards work, training or education at their own pace.
Our Women’s Programme Co-Ordinator will develop and deliver football sessions for socially disadvantaged women and girls across Ayrshire, Glasgow, the Central Belt and Fife.
All posts are full-time. Benefits include 33 days annual leave, enhanced family leave and a private health plan including access to counselling through Simply Health.
Lived experience is at the heart of what we do, with over 80% of our staff having lived experience of the challenges our players face. We are particularly interested in applications from those with that same lived experience.
Full details on each role and how to apply are listed below. Applications close on Sunday 12th July 2026.
