Our football programmes are in place to help socially excluded men and women across Scotland feel better about themselves and their future.

We believe that football is a great tool for connecting with one another, breaking down barriers and making positive changes.

People’s circumstances are often complex, but helping them is not. We know being part of a team can give players a sense of belonging, build confidence, encourage friendships and improve wellbeing. And we believe these are the best goals you can ever have in life.

Our programmes offer our players purpose, relationships and a connection to other support services and opportunities.

And the more people who turn up to play, the more people we can help.

With free football sessions on every week of the year, new players are welcome at all times. There are a range of programmes which aim to support players regardless of their personal circumstances. With newly developed women’s only programmes as well as a unique delivery within prisons, Street Soccer wants to make football accessible to everyone.

With sessions across the central belt as well as established homes in Dundee and Aberdeen, our programmes are expanding across Scotland. Start your Street Soccer journey today.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Through our strong partnership with Edinburgh Napier University we deliver Street Soccer Coaching Awards allowing players to gain recognised qualifications such as SCQF’s.

Our players can undertake modules in event delivery, communicating, Street Soccer coaching, community volunteering and preparing for employment.

This programme is designed to give players the tools to make more positive choices in their lives.

LOCAL & NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

With two key National events each year, our players have the chance to come together to compete and socialise with their peers from all of our regions.

These tournaments are a huge part of what we do promoting inclusivity and free football for everyone. Both our Summer Cup and Winter Cup are a great opportunity for our players and partners to take part.

Street Soccer Scotland are proud National Partners of the Homeless World Cup.

Scotland are one of the most successful nations at the Homeless World Cup lifting the trophy in 2007 and 2011.

An inspiring and life changing event for our players, we host an extensive trial period to select our men’s and women’s squad. Our teams then come together to train ahead of the yearly tournament before picking up the coveted Street Soccer Scotland jersey.
